Services   Ø                  The inspectors provide a number of services to municipalities and private entities.   Ø                  All inspectors are available for full-time or part-time structural, electrical, plumbing and mechanical inspections as required on a daily basis.   Ø                  Building plan reviews for both commercial and residential properties.   Ø                  Zoning plans review for any properties.   Ø                  Inspections in the areas of building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, swimming pool, existing buildings, abandoned or unsafe buildings and fire damage.  All inspections are in a written format form.   Ø                  Special Inspectors.   Ø                  Threshold Inspections.   Ø                  Code enforcement services are also available. Benefits   Ø                  Services are provided on an as needed basis thus eliminating costs for employing staff personnel.   Ø                  Requested inspections are made within a twenty-four (24) hour period.   Ø                  On-site service inspections are immediate.   Ø                  Pre-application meetings are held with residents for variances and conditional use approvals.   Ø                  Hy-Byrd personnel will be available to attend Planning and Zoning Board and Board of Adjustment meetings as required.
